Truckers spend a considerable amount of time in their vehicles, which means it’s easy for garbage and dirt to pile up. Clean your truck in time for spring using these tips.
Remove Bigger Items
To start the cleaning process, it’s best to begin by removing larger pieces of trash that have accumulated. This could include things like fast food bags, coffee cups, water bottles, soda cans and snack wrappers. Once the bigger items are cleared out, you can get down to the nitty gritty.
Use A Blower Nozzle
A blower nozzle for an air compressor is a great tool to use to get even the smallest dirt and grime out of hard-to-reach places. Blowing air into areas will reveal dirt, rocks or leaves that have been hiding in your truck.
Shake Out Floor Mats
Floors mats make cleaning a breeze. Take them out, and shake or hose them down to remove mud, salt, sand or anything else that has accumulated.
Sweep & Vacuum
Once you’ve done all this, it’s time to sweep up as much as possible, and then pull out a vacuum to get what’s left.
Wipe Everything Down
When all the loose dirt is gone, it’s time to wipe everything down. It’s a great idea to keep cleaning wipes in your cab all the time to quickly clean and sanitize messes. You can also use interior cleaner and protector products to give it that extra polished look.
